Vintage advertising from what must be the coolest basement in the world.
Since 2006, Paula of Found in Mom’s Basement has been scanning all the interesting ephemera she can find – everything from sexist advertising to weird album covers to vintage coupons. With at least one new image a day, and little by way of commentary, the site is a massive resource that’s perfect for anyone interested in the history of pop culture and design. We’re always pleasantly surprised by how gorgeous some of the images are, even as they remain hilariously outdated:
